PAGETWO

Page Two.  I think Nic’s design work gives the Martian architecture a real blend of science fiction industrialism and Victorian sensibility, especially the glass (plasti-steel) shell.  This theme continues, I think, in our “costumes”; part dystopian corporate uniform and part steam-punk convention.  Nic took my paragraph-long descriptions of the girl’s appearance and translated them into sketches in one shot.

Recommending a music pairing with this page wasn’t easy and it came down to two choices.  I considered Love and Rockets with Kundalini Express.  But, in the end, it really had to be Siouxsie and the Banshees’ The Passenger (sorry Iggy).  It captures our own passenger’s tone pretty well and the lyrics are eerily appropriate.

Lastly, thanks for all the great feedback.  It is very motivational to hear from you ladies and gentlemen.
